Speculative shooting of new to me areas for a long time client. Focus on telling a visual story of water as a resource.  Client typically hasn’t favored macro; photographs primarily grand and/or intimate landscapes.  Emphasis on spring seasonality.

Spring ephemeral wildflowers along the floodplains of the Potomac River about fifteen to twenty miles upstream of Washington D.C.  Emphasis on the annual Virginia Bluebell bloom.

Spring ephemeral wildflowers within and around the Jocassee Gorges area of Upstate South Carolina.  Focus on rare flowers like the Oconee Bell and Shealy’s Saxifrage.  Exclusively macro, often greater than life size magnifcation.
