WNC Magazine was one of the first to pay attention to my photography. For years we almost hooked up for Vistas features, with photo editors regularly requesting low-res samples of my photography for potential consideration. When we did finally make the connection it was ironic in that the feature would run in print the same month that I took my hobby full-time and opened a small photography business. The photograph chosen was a winter scenic of the Wild & Scenic Chattooga River in the headwaters Section Zero as it flowed underneath the Old Iron Bridge in Jackson County, Western North Carolina.
